Unwrap configuration in Cubase

Hello fellow Powercore users..

I wanted to upmix a stereo file in Cubase 5.5 or 8.0 with Unwrap.. how does this work? Do I have to create a extr 5.1 output in Cubase for this.. When I put the Unwrap as insert effect on a Stereo Track I see the 6 Meters for left right center surround and LFE inside the plugin doing their job... but how do i get this meters routed back to Cubase??

Can't find anything about it in the manual..
