UPDATE:- I forgot to mention that I also have 2 x Sony Powercore Oxford Bundle 4 licenses - one for each of the PCI MKII cards. The Sony Powercore Oxford Bundle 4 includes 3 plugins:-
Oxford Dynamics
TransMod
Inflator
I have updated the info below with these details and just increased the price of the 1 x PCI MKII card with Sony Powercore Oxford Bundle 4 by £10. The other PCI MKII is still the same price.
Hi there. I have the following for sale - prices open to offers:-
1 x PCI MKII card with the following licenses:-
Assimilator
Fabrik C
Fabrik R
Master X5
NonLin2
Novation V-Station
Tap Factory
TC Thirty
Tube-Tech CL 1B
Virus Powercore (Multi DSP)
VSS3 Stereo Source Reverb
Waldorf D-Coder
Sony Powercore Oxford Bundle 4
Price:- £500.00
1 x PCI MKII card with Sony Powercore Oxford Bundle 4. Price:- £75.00
3 x Powercore PCI cards (NOT Element) with no additional licenses. Price:- £30.00 each
1 x 13 slot Magma chassis with an updated power supply that is almost silent. Price:- £225.00
1 x spare set of Magma chassis cards and spare main board. Basically another Magma chassis without the power supply, connecting data cable or actual chassis unit. So you get the 13 slot Magma chassis board plus the two PCI cards that connect the Magma chassis to the computer - one PCI card goes into the Magma chassis and the other into the computer. Price:- £100.00
Or £750.00 for the lot. Prices do not include delivery. I live in Reading, Berkshire. England. I would prefer collection as this is a heavy set of items and I wouldn't want the risk of damage in transit. Plus you can come round and see it all working before you decide to buy.
The Magma chassis works fine - I did have 4 cards running in the chassis with no problems. I just have to make sure and switch it on a second before I switch on my PC so that it gets recognised. Becomes second nature after a few days!
I will miss a few of the Powercore plugins. In particular the Novation V-Station, which, to my ears at least, sounds absolutely beautiful and has a GUI that is a real joy to program. I have pretty much decided to go for an X99 motherboard based PC which does not have any PCI slots. I want to run loads of plugins!! So no go for my Powercores. I have been contemplating going for a lower spec PC with an ASUS Z97-A motherboard, which has 2 PCI slots, just so that I do not loose my Powercore V-Station. Of course, the Virus does sound rather nice aswell! But I have decided that I must bite the bullet and give up on my Powercores - I could buy a few secondhand PCIE Powercores but, to be honest, I do not want the worry and hassle of losing my Powercore plugins because TC Electronics cannot/will not provide me with replacement licenses in the future.
Cheers.
Nev.
